oh, hi there –
I'm Lucianne. I currently work as a Creative Design Manager looking after graphics and visuals for Kurt Geiger LTD. I take on freelance work as well as writing my interiors blog, Cushion Fort, and spotting dogs everywhere I go.
my approach –
I’m going to let you in on a little secret - ‘effortlessly beautiful’ design can only be created with meticulous preparation and extensive thought. Ironic, I know. But this is why my approach always starts with me seeking the key details, including some that may not immediately appear relevant. I want to get to know more than a brand's aesthetic, but really understand the tone and sub-conscious communication it has with its customers or audience. It may sound cliché, but I really do like to collaborate with you. When producing a brief that pin-points exactly what you want, ongoing communication is the best way for for us to achieve your ultimate goal quickly - leaving more time for any extra tweaks, or you know, tea and cake?
If you’d like a quote, or to chat about an idea you’ve got brewing (maybe over that mug of tea?) - please get in touch using the form on this page. I look forward to hearing from you!
Just a quick note on privacy; I do keep personal and non-personal information sent to me via this for, in order to communicate with clients, and keep a record of past projects in order to provide the best service possible. More information on that here. Should you wish to be removed from my database, please let me know via my contact form on this page.
let's chat –

frequently asked questions –
• What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I have a briefing form which I will send out to you if you choose to go ahead with the project. This includes information about what you'd like to create, its objective or purpose - is it to gain followers, make money or sell a service? Also I like to know your personal or business style, any known dimensions, copy and imagery too. I love to see images of things you like or even a cheeky mood board! If you're not creatively minded at all, that's not a problem we can figure everything required out together!
• What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Intent for the project - the who, what, wheres and for how longs!
Any owned imagery and approved copy, prepared for the project - I can help you with this too if it’s not already there. Plus, brand guidelines or a brand book helps me to get the insider scoop on what to align to and who your customer is.
An idea of things you like, Pinterest boards are great!
• What inspired you to start your own business?
As well as a full time job, I freelance as a graphic designer/creative consultant, wedding photographer, calligrapher, oh and I write a blog for first time buyers and renovators. You could say I'm a workaholic, but I think each of these helps me to see a big picture and build a network of fantastic creative people!
• What makes a great website?
A site that explains its purposes within a second of opening the page is super important.
• What sorts of printing projects do you usually cater for?
Any and all! I also have a little black book of fantastic printing specialists to help out with the nitty gritty.
• What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people, and creating beautiful collateral fit for purpose that my clients love.
•Why should I choose you?
I believe the proof really is in the pudding, my clients come back to me time and time again which hopefully shows that they love my work. I think collaboration is key to any working relationship so let's sit down and discuss your project and ideas, I can give you a quote and if you like me and the ideas then we can get cracking!
