The inspiration behind Soley Creative was the desire for flexibility (read: getting out for the rat race!) and the freedom to chart our own creative course. With a strong educational foundation in fashion and a wealth of professional experience, including roles at renowned brands like Topman, Monica Vinader, La Perla, and Kurt Geiger, Lucianne, our founder brought a unique perspective to the world of design. We've also delved into trend forecasting, staying attuned to the ever-evolving design landscape.

THE FOUNDATION OF SOLEY CREATIVE
Our Roots
Soley Creative was started post-redundancy. Our founder Lucianne Soley was made redundant at the end of 2019 and we’re proud to say we were born in what many would see as a vulnerable moment. Lucianne saw the opportunity to realise her dream of working for herself, and soon the UK followed en masse with 100k new business incorporations in 2020. The UK lockdown although tragic on many levels offered a moment to question what’s really important in life. Many phone calls were had with new founders following their dream of starting something they were passionate about. Calls starting with “I’m an estate agent but I really want to be a florist” were common and the studio set down roots in helping business owners realise big dreams.
After an initial few years freelancing, Lucianne reestablished as Soley Creative Design Studio broadening our service offering to anything creative - we are ‘solely creative’…get it!?
Jess joined Lucianne in 2022, bringing her experience from marketing agency We Are Komodo, and retail experience with Yuyu so the team could work closely with more entrepreneurs.
Our story continues to unfold with 2023 beginning the trademarking of Soley Creative, and a new website with more developments in the works.
