RIXO

RIXO

RIXO’s story began in the London living room of best friends Henrietta & Orlagh, born from their passion for vintage. The brand’s philosophy is to evoke a wanderlust & free spirit in all their wearers, filling a gap in the contemporary market with easy-to-wear, feminine shapes and high-quality materials.

Always inclusive, always empowering, RIXO creates a fusion of original hand-painted prints and timeless silhouettes to flatter every woman, irrespective of age, season, shape, nationality or time of day. United as a tribe, #humansofrixo stand together.

The Problem

The team reached out, as they knew they wanted to hire the right candidate and that could take time, particularly as this was a senior role and likely to mean longer notice periods to factor in. Meanwhile, their email campaigns still needed to generate revenue for the brand, whilst showcasing their identity and beautiful pieces in the best way. They also wanted to bring more of their brand identity and values into their email design using colour, layout and graphics to draw in some of the refined in-store experience the brand offers.

The Solution

Joining the team remotely, 3 days a week, we were able to fill the gap while the team found the perfect designer for their in-house team. Using Asana, we seamlessly integrated into the briefing process, meaning key stakeholders could brief designs directly with communication about image, copy and turnaround all given within the app.

We delivered a new reference guide of email designs, detailing the type of imagery and copy required as well as options of proposed layouts for each ‘theme’.

3 or more weekly emails were designed and built in Dotdigital, ready for the team to add links, schedule and send.

The Results

Whilst working with us RIXO an uplift in email interaction by over 35%, which was achieved through applying best practice design practice as well as movement and cohesion of the branding and marketing. We were thrilled to be part of the team who delivered such a great result.

When their new designer arrived, we were on-hand to deep dive into the new reference guide and handover all design slowly, so the design could get up to speed and finally bidding the team a ‘see you soon!’ with a final hand off call. We received this gorgeous piece of feedback following our stint with RIXO:

“Soley Creative were contracted to support RIXO on our CRM email program. We were so impressed with how they tackled the design that we extended the contract to support us on our wider email and digital marketing design whilst we recruited for an internal position. The team instantly improved the aesthetic and UX of our emails, and we saw immediate results in our engagement and performance stats. They also helped us create our email template library, which enabled us to have more variety and definition in our emails. The Soley Creative team slotted into our team with ease, working with our project management tool and liaising with the wider team comfortably. They understood and interpreted our briefs seamlessly and were agile and willing to make amends as required. I would highly recommend Soley creative – they were an extension of our team and helped us take our email marketing to the next stage.”
